Click Add images, pick several at once and drag them into order. In the preview, click a heading or text to write in it and drag it to move it. Each image can have a heading, text and a button with a link.
Slideshows that sell
Slideshow makes slideshows with text and a button, placed with one click and accessible to everyone. Pro adds every transition, motion in the images and more ways to browse.
In WordPress the plugin is called Datoden Slideshow – in the DT-addons menu it is listed as DT-slideshow.
DT-slideshow is a slideshow builder right inside WordPress. You see the slideshow live while you build it, exactly as visitors will, and everything is saved automatically. Place it on a page with one click, or use the block or the shortcode.
Click Add images, pick several at once and drag them into order. In the preview, click a heading or text to write in it and drag it to move it. Each image can have a heading, text and a button with a link.
Click the most important part of the image, or double-click it in the preview, and that part stays in view on every screen, phones included. You can also darken the image behind the text and choose how the text animates in.
Under Show it on the website, choose a page and Above or Below the page content. The slideshow is added straight away without editing the page. You can also use the Slideshow block or the shortcode [datoden_slideshow id="12"].
The free version includes the Fade, Slide and Zoom in transitions, round arrows and dots. Pick one of six formats from Square to Full screen, and control Change image automatically with Time per image.
Slideshows have a pause/play button, respond to the arrow keys and can be swiped on phones. Visitors who prefer reduced motion get a calm fade without zoom, and alt text comes from the media library.
Pro adds eight transitions: slide up, zoom out, blur, wipe, circle, parallax, cube and flip. With Own effect for this image, a single image can use a different transition from the rest of the slideshow.
Under Movement in the image, choose a slow Ken Burns movement: Zoom in, Zoom out, Pan left or Pan right. Set it for the whole slideshow or for each image.
Arrows can be square or minimal, and the image picker can show lines, numbers or thumbnails. Turn on Show a time bar at the top so visitors see when the next image is coming.
Everything without a Pro label works for free. What is marked Pro is included in the Pro version.
After installing – how to set up Slideshow.
Go to DT-addons → DT-slideshow in the WordPress menu and click New slideshow.

They are shown right away and open in the builder. Click Move to DT-slideshow to save them as DT-slideshow slideshows with the same IDs, so existing blocks and the [bildspel] shortcode keep working.
Nothing stops working. A purchase never runs out, and when a subscription ends the plugins keep every function – only the updates from Datoden stop.
