Checked every five minutes
With DT-website-guard on, Datoden visits the public website every five minutes, around the clock. If it doesn't respond you get an email right away, and another one when it works again. The free version covers one website per Datoden account.
Status right in WordPress
At the top of the overview under DT-addons → DT-website-guard you see whether the website is up, its response time, and how long the padlock (SSL) and the domain are valid. Check again fetches the details anew.
Install by drag and drop
Drag a plugin or theme ZIP over any page, on the website or in the admin, and drop it in the area that appears. It is installed or updated right away, the cache is cleared and the page reloads. Combined DT packages are installed in batches, and the latest installations are listed on the overview.
Datoden's plugins on one overview
Datoden plugins lists every DT plugin. One that isn't installed is downloaded from datoden.se, verified and turned on with the Activate switch. If the website has a Pro licence, the Pro switch installs and turns on the Pro version directly.
Maintenance page
Under Maintenance page on the overview you set the heading and text visitors see in maintenance mode, per language. Ready-made texts exist for ten languages. Logged-in editors and the admin are not affected by maintenance mode.
My websites for more websites Pro
Pro lets you connect more websites to the same Datoden account and follow them in My websites. There you get uptime, a response time graph, a front page check, reminders before the SSL certificate or domain expires, and email alerts where you choose which events to be told about.
Update and control from Datoden Pro
From My websites you can update plugins, themes and WordPress, turn on maintenance mode, clear the cache, sign out all users, switch the cookie banner and dark mode on or off, send a test email and sign in to WordPress with a one-time link. The website picks up the command from Datoden, runs it and reports the result back.
Safe updates Pro
Before every installation or update of a plugin or theme, the version in use is saved. The website is checked afterwards, and if it broke the earlier version is put back at once. Under Safe updates on the overview you can also restore a saved version with one click.
