About Datoden
Small tools for everyday problems
Datoden is a small Swedish project from Malmö. The idea is simple: tools that do one thing well, work right in the browser and don't need a manual to get started.
How it started
My name is David and I run Datoden through my company Responsit. It all started with Report. I needed an easy way to keep track of hours per customer and send a clear contract report every month – and nothing out there felt quite right. Too complicated, too expensive, or built for a completely different kind of company.
So I built my own. Then another one. When I missed a simple way to edit a PDF, draw a quick illustration or touch up an image without installing a heavy program, those tools ended up here too.
That's why Datoden looks the way it does: one account, several small apps, and the same simple approach in all of them.

What I try to stick to
Simple rather than complete
Each app should do its job without fuss. Better one button less than a feature nobody uses.
Your files are yours
Images, PDFs and drawings are edited in your own browser and never uploaded. What is saved in your account is stored on Swedish servers.
Free to start
You should be able to try it for real before you pay anything. If you need more, there are passes and subscriptions at fair prices.
